Come enjoy a bounce house, games, music, face painting, balloon artists, and more. Admission is free and canned food donations will give your family a free raffle ticket. The highlight of the event will be a Community Garden Scavenger Hunt, where participants can touch, dig, weigh, discover, test out garden tools and plant seeds of their own.
“We want to provide a safe, welcoming place where everyone can come laugh, play and put their hands in the dirt to celebrate Earth Day and lift up the efforts in our wider community toward food justice,” says the church’s minister, Rev. Dr. Aija Duelm. “Community UU and its partner organizations are called to support families who are struggling, so we created Earth Fest to share a little joy and love with the larger community.”
