Formed in 2020, Casachanclas is an indie pop/rock collective with retro vibes hailing from Berkeley, California. Founded by a group of theoretical and experimental physicists, two material science enthusiasts, and a Mexican computer scientist, the band blends creativity and varied influences to craft a unique sound.
Casachanclas has self-produced and recorded 25 songs from their secluded home studio in Berkeley. Their latest release, "It's Such a Shame that Tomorrow Comes", is a oeuvre of love, loss and chubby kitties.
Ella Martin is an alternative singer-songwriter from Sonoma County, California. Although she started out in music as a featured soloist and soft, acoustic-focused songwriter for the Bay Area’s VOENA choir, she later developed a passion for writing rock music, founding local band Gnome Riot. Both musical styles are reflected in her first original EP, The Only One, which is now out on all streaming platforms. An album is on the way, but for now Martin is honored to be performing with a group of fellow students at the University of California, Berkeley, which she currently attends.
