A Dream of Korea, Lebanon and Mexico, May 10 Our Polyphonic World concert in Pleasanton
Prepare to be transported into a captivating dreamscape that illuminates the souls of Korea, Lebanon, and Mexico.
Join us for a concert featuring soprano Jennie Yukyung Byun, pianist Yu-Ting Chen, violinists Kai-Li Cheng and Cecilia Huang, and cellist Eunha Kim. We will perform works by Wonju Lee, Joowon Kim, Sami Seif, Anis Fuleihan, Manuel M. Ponce, and Manuel de Sumaya on Saturday, May 10, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Clare's Episcopal Church, located at 3350 Hopyard Rd, Pleasanton, California. Donations are welcome.
This concert is part of the Round the World Project, an initiative by Our Polyphonic World aimed at fostering connections through exploring and celebrating a wider range of cultures and musical traditions using the language of Western Classical music. After journeying through A to J—Australia, Bulgaria, China, Denmark, Egypt, and France- to Ghana, Haiti, India, and Japan, the project is now ready to arrive at K, L, and M at this event!
