Join us for a special developmental reading of PM10 by Mildred Inez Lewis, a gripping new play set against the environmental, cultural, and political conflicts over water rights and air quality in California’s Owens Valley. Follow the journey of Allison, a local teaching artist, and Troy, a DWP geologist, as they navigate personal and professional tensions while deciding the valley’s future. Their differing views on science, art, and memory will determine not just the valley’s fate, but their own.
Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the play in its early stages, staged in the intimate setting of our Downtown Livermore studio. With minimal staging, costume pieces, and props, the focus is on the story, the characters, and the creative process. Stay after the show for a lively discussion, and gain an inside look at how a play evolves from page to stage. Come be part of the development of this exciting new work!
