Every page turned is another step toward transforming lives and discovering the heart of our two local libraries as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Dougherty Station Library and 36 years of San Ramon Library. This jazzy fund raiser celebration will have you tapping your feet to the music of Nicolas Bearde, raising your glass, and supporting the San Ramon Libraries. Highly sought after, both domestically and internationally, vocalist Nicolas Bearde sizzles with selections from the classic jazz song book, bluesy renditions and souful interpretations accompanied by pianist John R Burr. The Jazz Examiner says: "Bearde's sophisticated, revelatory vocals are simply stunning in their bare essence? San Francisco-based Nicolas Bearde is a bona fide jazz master who first made his mark more than 30 years ago as a founding member of Bobby McFerrin's wildly innovative a capella ensemble, " Voicestra". He has released 6 solo CD's on the Right Groove Records label, and has won accolades from critics and jazz audiences worldwide for his "velvet tone" and engaging performances.
