Blue Christmas Worship Service
Blue Christmas worship services offer a space for those who are experiencing difficult emotions during the holiday season for any reason, including grief, family discord, or the state of the world. They are typically held on or near the Winter Solstice, which is the longest night of the year. They offer a communal setting for people to acknowledge their laments, find solace, and experience God's comforting presence. We are offering a nondenominational service which should be accessible to everyone in the Judeo-Christian tradition. Resurrection Lutheran is a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) congregation.
