Celebrate Earth Day early this year! Earth Day Napa 2025 will be held on Saturday, April 12th from 11am to 4pm in the Oxbow Commons on McKinstry Street. Hosted by the Environmental Education Coalition of Napa County (EECNC), this annual community festival provides educational and entertaining activities for the whole family. There will be interactive displays, live music and dance performances, crafts, games, and more! Learn about sustainable local products and services - all while enjoying great local food and entertainment.
Divorces, Raya Nova, Salsa Rosa Orquesta, Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli, Dance House Napa Valley, and more will perform throughout the day. Napa Library will even present a Trash Fashion Show! Proceeds from Napa Green-donated wine sales and Napa Palisades, Tannery Bend, and Lagunitas beer sales will all go to the EECNC Field Trip Bus Grant Program and the Darcy Aston Environmental Advocacy Scholarship. This year, $2,000 Aston Scholarships will be awarded to six graduating high school seniors or current college/training program enrollees pursuing studies in the environmental sciences.
Ride your bike to the Oxbow Commons and take advantage of free bike valet parking provided by the Napa County Bicycle Coalition. To help make this a zero-waste event, bring your own reusable water bottle and stop by the “Water Bar” filling station. There will be no bottled water for sale. Dogs are welcome at Earth Day Napa but must be leashed.
Earth Day Napa would not be possible without the generous support of its sponsors. Special thanks go out to Earth Legacy Sponsors Napa Recycling & Waste Services and the Two Friends Foundation, and Sustainability Champions Spare the Air and the Gasser Foundation. For a complete list of sponsors, exhibitors, and entertainment, visit the festival web site at EarthDayNapa.com.
For some pre-festival activity, don’t forget the Earth Day Napa Community Cleanup! Grab a bucket and gloves and join the Napa County Resource Conservation District at several local sites to remove litter from our creeks and river. The cleanup runs from 9am to 11:30am. Register at NapaRCD.org/EarthDay.
