The Contra Costa Chorale, led by artistic director Dr. Brad Schultz and collaborative keyboardist Christopher Alexander, presents our spring concerts in celebration of 60 years of community and song.
Tracing our history from our founding as the Richmond Symphony Chorus to today, we will cover musical highlights from each of the eras, including music by Franz Joseph Haydn, Johannes Brahms, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Morten Lauridsen, Joan Szymko, and many others.
This concert will also feature a premiere performance of “Let Children Walk” by local composer Justin Trujillo. Justin was one of the first to receive a scholarship from the Chorale while at Pinole Valley High School. He recently graduated with a BA in Music Composition from Sacramento State University.
Mark your calendars now to join us for this celebration and musical retrospective!
