Tri-Valley Cultural Jews Purim Celebration
Livermore, CA, March 1, 2026 – Tri-Valley Cultural Jews warmly invites families, friends, and neighbors to come together for a joyful and inclusive Secular Humanist Purim celebration on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 10:30am to 12:00pm in Livermore, CA. This playful, welcoming event is designed for all ages and celebrates Jewish culture through creativity, laughter, and community.
Purim is a fun and festive Jewish holiday that tells a story of courage, resilience, and community. This Secular, Humanist Purim party invites everyone to enjoy the holiday in a relaxed, inclusive way – no religious background or experience required.
What to Expect:
Dress-Up Fun: Costumes are encouraged for kids and adults alike. Come as a character from the Purim story, your favorite hero, or anything that makes you smile.
Hamantaschen Making: Families can bake together and learn how to make hamantaschen, the classic triangle-shaped Purim cookies. Bring your favorite filling to share — hands-on fun and tasty results guaranteed.
Face Painting and Games: Guests of all ages can enjoy face painting and festive games through the morning.
Potluck Lunch: Stay and eat with us! Please bring a dish to share for our community potluck lunch. Sweet or savory, homemade or store-bought – all contributions are appreciated.
Community Connection: This celebration is all about bringing people together. Whether your family has been part of the community for years or you're joining us for the first time, you’ll find a warm welcome here.
