Lamorinda Arts Council: Art Embraces Words “Call for Artists”

The Lamorinda Arts Council invites visual artists to respond to a “Call for Artists” for its free July 12 program at the Lafayette Library Arts & Science Room from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. Apply online at https://lamorindaarts.org/apply-as-an-artist-art-embraces-words/. The program alternates readings from "The Benicia 6" – James White, Karen Mercury, Deborah Fruchey, Gregory Montoya, Aletheia Morden and Marty Malin – with presentations from two artists. Each presenter has 7 minutes plus a short Q&A. A courtyard reception follows with light refreshments.
