The Great Backyard Bird Count (for Kids!) - Hosted by International Bird Rescue
We would love to invite community youths ages 8-15 along with an accompanying parent or guardian to join us for this educational tradition. Participants will learn about the history of the Great Backyard Bird Count, citizen science, and some birding basics from Bird Rescue team members and then conduct a bird count at our Cordelia Slough education site.
Participants must register in advance
When: Monday, February 17th, 9am to 11:30am
Where: Cordelia Slough Youth Education Program Site (Address will be given to registrants).
