Discover Great Deals at Friends’ Book Sale Friends of the Pleasanton Library book sales are packed with unique finds and excellent deals. You’ll be sure to find unique treasures and hidden gems. The next book sale at the Pleasanton Library will be held March 20-23: Thursday, members preview from 11 a.m.–2 p.m., and public sale from 2–7 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.; and Sunday, 1–3 p.m. Organizers say, “Our bi-annual book sale is a great place to find wonderful treasures and gifts — or just a good book or two for yourself and your family. We always have an incredible selection of adult and children’s books, DVDs, CDs, games, and puzzles.” The sale features thousands of donated items from the community, so there is something for everyone’s interests. A bag (provided by the Friends) can be filled and purchased at the Sunday sale for just $7. The Friends of the Pleasanton Library are advocates and supporters dedicated to the development and advancement of the library, which benefits the entire community.
