Caldwell Snyder Gallery presents an exhibition featuring works by José Villalobos and Regina Saura, bringing together two distinct approaches to contemporary painting.
Oaxaca-born Villalobos draws upon his architectural background to create abstract compositions defined by geometric forms, spatial relationships, and dynamic movement. Barcelona-born Saura works with vibrant color, gestural marks, collage, and layered imagery inspired by nature, travel, and memory.
Together, their works create a compelling dialogue between structure and spontaneity, exploring color, movement, and abstraction through two unique artistic perspectives.
The exhibition is on view September 30 through October 31. The gallery is open Monday–Saturday, 10 AM–5 PM.
