Sip. Sample. Vote. Tri-Valley Craft Cocktail Competition Fundraiser

After selling out its first two years, Pacific Chamber Orchestra’s Tri-Valley Craft Cocktail Competition (TVC3) returns Saturday, May 2, with more competitors, expanded capacity and an upgraded silent auction. The event’s signature invitation — “Sip. Sample. Vote.” — captures the spirit of the afternoon. It’s all at Bankhead Plaza, 2400 First St., Livermore. This year’s event grows from 17 to 20 competing establishments, adds an additional restaurant partner and reconfigures the plaza layout to accommodate up to 400 guests — a 10 percent increase over last year. More than 120 tickets have already been committed through returning attendees and sponsors ahead of public sales. Guests must be 21 to attend. Participating establishments include Azotea, The Black Cat, The Bourbon Pear, Commonwealth Cafe Bar, Crush’d Wine Bar & Kitchen, Demitris Taverna, Rosetta Roasting, The Fat Pigeon, Honeycomb Cocktail Lounge, Hop DeVine, Hops and Sessions, Market Tavern, Mornings on First, Pivot Craft Kitchen & Sport Bar, Rebel Kitchen & Libations, Rosemarino, Sabio on Main, Sauced BBQ & Spirits, Sidewinder Spirits Co., Sons of Liberty Alehouse and The Syndicate. Guests sample cocktails created exclusively for the competition, enjoy curated bites from downtown Livermore restaurants, vote for their favorite drink and applaud as professional judges award top honors, including the coveted Mixologist of the Year, $600 1st prize and trophy. Additional awards include $400 and $200 for second and third place, $300 for Audience Favorite and awards for Best Table Displays, where participating establishments are encouraged to elevate their décor and presentation to match their signature drinks. The silent auction, a pilot program last year, returns in expanded form with a curated selection of eight to ten premium items and experiences, including a Tahoe cabin weekend getaway. “We grabbed our tickets early,” said a returning attendee. “Last year the drinks were so creative and tasty. Our group spent half the afternoon comparing notes — it was hard to pick just one favorite to vote for.” Lead sponsor Keller Williams Tri-Valley returns for 2026, joined by Fremont Bank, The Club and Altamont Funding. “TVC3 showcases creativity and friendly competition at its best,” said Jennifer Haus of Keller Williams Tri-Valley. “You can feel the energy and community spirit the moment you walk in.” General admission tickets are $80 and include a souvenir tasting shot glass, drink card and voting token. Premium tickets are $150 and include early entry at 4:00 p.m., a second voting token and an exclusive 15 oz. TVC3 2026 cocktail glass. Purchase tickets at TVC3.info. Proceeds benefit Pacific Chamber Orchestra’s (PCO) concerts and music education programs throughout the Tri-Valley. Music Changes Lives – Be a Change Agent. PCO is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
