San Francisco Greek Food Festival

The San Francisco Greek Food Festival has been proudly produced annually for the last seven decades by members of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of San Francisco. It is an intergenerational, 100% volunteer effort designed to unite the broader community in celebration of Greek culture. Volunteers work for many weeks before the festival to produce the home-cooked delicacies that are served with love at the festival, as well as set up and run the festival throughout the weekend. The food festival is essentially a popup weekend restaurant. Volunteer ages range from 10 to 90+ years. The San Francisco Food Festival will offer for purchase a wide variety of freshly homemade Greek food, including Spanakopita, Moussaka, Gemista (stuffed peppers), Gyros, and other meat and vegetarian options. There will be Greek desserts, coffee; wine, beer, and other drinks; and a variety of vendors will be on hand selling a selection of items. A menu of food items being offered is included in the google drive of images attached below. Traditional dance performances by award-winning folk dance groups will grace the festival, and music will be provided by DJ Jukebox C, who plays both new and classic Greek tunes.
