Tarp in the Park on the Road

Looking for more queer community, connections, friends, and/or chosen family in the Tri-Valley? Come join Queer Misfits as we take Tarp in the Park on the road to Livermore, CA! Traditionally this event is held in San Francisco and we are transporting this special event to Livermore. Tarp in the Park - Livermore Edition is a queer fun in the sun (or shade) picnic with socializing, art/crafts, demos, music, games, refreshments, and more! Space will be held on our big blue tarp Saturday, June 13 from 12 to 3 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Livermore, CA. Look for the big blue tarp and sandwich board out front. We will be at 1893 N. Vasco Rd., Livermore with plenty of grass, shade, and accessible restrooms inside the building. This event is a kid- and sober-friendly afternoon. Come and go as you please. Queer+ folks with your friends, family, and loves are always welcome. Feel free to bring just yourself, something to sit on, layers, refreshments, games, books, art, something to share, or anything else you can think of that would make our picnic more fun. Bonus: stick around after Tarp in the Park for the Pride in the Valley Winery Tour, a self-guided afternoon at LGBTQ-affirming Livermore Valley wineries flying their flag with us this weekend. Pick up your map in person. Most wineries are open until 5 pm, so come picnic with us and make a day of it! Hosted by UUCiL and Queer Misfits.
