Strength In Colors 5K & KIDS DASH
Now entering its 9th year, the Strength In Colors 5K & KIDS DASH brings together families, survivors, and community partners to support cancer prevention, education, and patient assistance programs across Ohio.
Each year, nearly 2,000 Ohioans are diagnosed with cancers caused by HPV, including cervical, head and neck, penile, anal, vulva, and vaginal, affecting both women and men. Many of these cancers are preventable with vaccination, screening, and education. Ohio's incidence rate for HPV-associated cancers is roughly 11% higher than the national average. We must do better! TOGETHER, WE CAN BUILD A HEALTHIER OHIO.
Proceeds from the event help with community education and HPV prevention awareness, advocacy for equitable access to care, financial assistance for patients undergoing cancer treatment.
