Food and Country: A Free Documentary Screening in Support of Common Greens
Common Greens, Slow Food Columbus, and Studio 35 will present, Food and Country, a documentary that discusses America’s policy of producing cheap food. The screening will begin at 12:00 pm on Sunday, April 27 at Studio 35, 3055 Indianola Ave, in celebration of the opening weekend of the Clintonville Farmers Market. Entry is free, but donations to support the work of Common Greens, the operator of five central Ohio farmers markets, will be accepted. Special guest, Bob Jones, Jr. a 4th generation Ohio farmer, will host an after-film discussion about his experience making the film and as a farmer. Mark Anthony Arceno with Slow Food Columbus and Amy Bodiker Baskes with Common Greens will moderate this Q & A.
