Peace Corps 65th Anniversary Proclamation Ceremony Ohio Statehouse Atrium
)- Ohio RPCVs invites you to attend a special Peace Corps proclamation ceremony hosted at the Ohio Statehouse Atrium on March 2, 2026 at 3:00 pm in recognition of the 65th Anniversary of the Peace Corps.
This gathering will bring together Returned Peace Corps Volunteers from across the state of Ohio to honor the enduring legacy of service, global friendship, and civic leadership that the Peace Corps represents. We are honored that several distinguished Ohio RPCVs and leaders will be in attendance, including Governor Bob Taft, Representative Steve Driehaus, and Carla Brown, President and CEO of the National Peace Corps Association, alongside Returned Volunteers from communities throughout Ohio.
Your presence would add greatly to the spirit of this occasion, as we recognize both the history of the Peace Corps and its continued relevance in today’s world. Please confirm attendance below.
There will be a gathering afterward at the Spaghettis Warehouse Restaurant, 150 S High St from 5pm onward.
