Community Joy Film Series: "Selma"
"Selma," rated PG-13, chronicles the tumultuous three-month period in 1965, when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. led a dangerous campaign to secure equal voting rights in the face of violent opposition. Refreshments will be available for purchase. The series is presented by Worthington Libraries in partnership with the Worthington Alliance of Black Families and Educators and the McConnell Arts Center, and sponsored by the Friends Foundation of Worthington Libraries.
