This film honors the life and legacy of Catherine E. Coulson—the beloved Log Lady from Twin Peaks, a pioneering first assistant camera in Hollywood, a storied Oregon Shakespeare Festival cast member, and a dedicated artist whose story continues to inspire. A longtime collaborator of David Lynch, Catherine brought depth and humanity to the world of Twin Peaks, both on and off screen.
Diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer during the final months of her life, Catherine was determined not only to live fully to the end but to ensure she returned as the Log Lady one final time—bringing strength, clarity, and compassion to her last performance. The suspense of why, where, and how to shoot those scenes carries the film and speaks to the power of art, community, and presence in the face of mortality.
Discounted tickets are available for Students, Military, OSU Faculty and Staff, and Seniors (60+). Members of the Columbus Museum of Art and Wexner Center for the Arts are eligible for the Community Pass ticket.
