Workshop - Abstract Painting in Acrylics w/ Erin Scaia
Through guided instruction and live demonstrations, the instructor will introduce a variety of techniques for creating dynamic, expressive compositions using acrylic paint. Participants will gain a basic understanding of composition, color theory, design principles, and the elements of art, learning how these core concepts come together in abstract work.
The workshop will cover techniques such as layering, mark-making, texture creation, and intuitive color mixing - helping students discover their own visual language. By the end of the session, each student will leave with the confidence and foundational knowledge needed to continue exploring abstract painting on their own.
No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to experiment and create.
