Midwest Golden Meetup
Entering its second year, the Midwest Golden Meetup will be held on May 16th from 11am-4pm at BrewDog in Canal Winchester. It will include a vendor market with about 20 vendors promoting and selling their dog-related goods and services, a mobile dog groomer offering low-cost nail trims, an agility setup for owners to run through with their dogs, a fenced dog park for off-leash fun, food trucks, dog-friendly menu items at the BrewDog restaurant and more.
Dog owners, especially Golden Retriever owners, are encouraged to bring their dogs as long as they are friendly and well-behaved in social settings, and are current on Bordetella, DHLPP, and Rabies vaccines. Vaccine records do not need to be submitted. While this event is celebrating Golden Retrievers, no dog will be turned away.
The event is free to attend and no registration is required - simply show up and have fun! This is a regional event, not exclusive to central Ohio, so out of town and even out of state visitors are also encouraged. If hotel accommodations are needed, this BrewDog location has a hotel that is completely dog-friendly, or Aloft University District Hotel has a small block of rooms available for a reduced rate (with a pet fee).
