Blue Limestone Park Cleanup
Aquatic Adventures Ohio is hosting a community cleanup event dedicated to removing litter and protecting our local waterways. This hands-on effort will focus on cleaning both shoreline areas and underwater environments, helping improve water quality, preserve wildlife habitats, and keep our parks and rivers safe and enjoyable for everyone.
The cleanup will be supported by a coordinated team that includes certified dive professionals, experienced snorkelers, and surface support volunteers. Divers and snorkelers will work in and below the water to recover debris that isn’t visible from shore, while surface teams assist with collection, sorting, safety oversight, and transporting trash to designated disposal areas. This team-based approach allows for a more thorough and impactful cleanup.
Participants of all experience levels are welcome. Whether you’re a certified diver, comfortable with snorkeling, or prefer to stay on land and assist with surface operations, there’s a role for you. Aquatic Adventures Ohio will provide organization, safety guidance, and leadership to ensure the event runs smoothly and safely for everyone involved.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring appropriate gear if they have it, along with comfortable clothing, water, and a readiness to get involved. This is a great opportunity to connect with others in the community, spend time outdoors, and take meaningful action to protect Ohio’s natural resources.
By working together—above and below the water—we can make a visible difference. Every piece of debris removed helps restore the beauty of our waterways and protects the environment for future generations.
