Farmers Market at Groovy Plants Ranch

MARENGO, OH – Groovy Plants Ranch is excited to announce a community-focused Farmers Market, running every Wednesday afternoon from June 3rd through September 23rd. Located at The Ranch’s iconic destination in Marengo, the market will transform the grounds into a bustling hub for local food, artisan crafts, and community spirit. The market will be held weekly from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, offering a perfect midweek opportunity for locals to stock up on fresh goods and enjoy an evening outdoors. “Our goal is to create the best weekday farmers market on this side of the city,” said the owner, Liz Hughes. “We want to provide a space where the community can support local small businesses while enjoying the unique atmosphere of the Ranch.” What Visitors Can Expect: 22 Rotating Vendors: Each week features a curated selection of local favorites. Shoppers can browse seasonal produce, artisan baked goods, wildflower honey, handmade soaps, and unique handcrafted gifts. Local Eats: Skip the cooking and enjoy dinner at the Ranch. One to two food trucks will be on-site every week, serving up fresh, local flavors. Live Music: To keep the vibes high, live music will be featured most weeks, providing a groovy soundtrack to the shopping experience. The Full Ranch Experience: In addition to the market, visitors are encouraged to explore the Ranch’s expansive greenhouses and shop their famous selection of rare and beautiful plants. Featured Vendors Include: The 2026 season boasts an impressive lineup of local partners, including The Art of Honey, Bee Kind Acres, Jen’s Cookie Counter, Firefly Fragrance Co., Tabouli Cafe, Small Wonders Homestead, Keikos Bead Box, and many more. As the vendor lineup rotates weekly, guests are encouraged to visit throughout the season to discover new treasures. Recently, the Hughes added a brand new, extra-large parking lot to allow for easy shopping, with plenty of room, an upgraded and improved gift shop in the updated "Armadilla Villa," and the Holler Earth rock shop with 1000's of gems, crystals, & fossils. This plant experience includes a potting saloon with soil and a wide selection of containers to pot up plants. They live at the Ranch with their two young daughters and two Australian shepherds.
