The City Baptist Jubilee Choir Union invites you to our Monthly Union Session on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 2:30 PM at Zion Chapel Baptist Church #1, located at 130 Walter Hills Road, Columbia, SC 29203.
The ability of African Americans to worship freely has long been central to our faith and cultural identity. During slavery, the church became a place of resistance, refuge, and hope. Through music—expressed in singing, clapping, dancing, and shouting—our ancestors testified, celebrated, and encountered God.
