Artists for Africa's 13th Annual Performance Series Event
General admission balcony tickets are $25 and can be purchased online through Ticketmaster, balcony and floor seating tickets ($75) can be purchased through Humanitix. The performance will feature Sara Mearns, principal ballerina with New York City Ballet. Other performers for the evening include local talents such as Soda City Brass Band, Trustus Theatre, Columbia Repertory Dance Company, South Carolina Ballet, Unbound Dance, Clayton King with After Dinner Cabaret, and more. Scholarship student dancers from Nairobi, Kenya will also perform.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour for VIP and floor ticket holders, a silent auction of Kenyan paintings, and a sale of other African arts and home goods. Following these festivities, the performance will commence at 7 p.m.
