Veterans’ Career Counseling Day
The South Carolina Department of Administration (Admin), in collaboration with the South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs (SCDVA), is pleased to announce this year’s Veterans’ Career Counseling Day aimed at helping veterans explore career opportunities with more than 40 state agencies and institutions of higher learning. The event is designed to provide veterans with one-on-one career counseling, resources for job application support and direct access to state agency representatives to answer questions about working within their agency.
Interested veterans can attend in-person to receive personalized career counseling, resume assistance and insights into state employment opportunities. This drop-in event will offer guidance from current veterans employed with the state of South Carolina on navigating state hiring processes and aligning veterans’ unique skills with available roles in state government.
SCDVA and Admin encourage all South Carolina veterans looking to continue a career of service to take part in the Veterans' Career Counseling Day.
