Jubilee: Festival of Black History and Culture
This annual one-day festival hosted by Historic Columbia features live music and entertainment featuring headliner Sunshine Anderson, plus artist demonstrations, historic storytelling, a delicious food court, and marketplace vendors selling a variety of wares, products, and art. Dive deeper into local Black history by taking a free tour of the historic Mann-Simons Site and Modjeska Monteith Simkins House, both located on the festival grounds, or hop on a Black history bus tour. The Kids Zone features educational and family-friendly activities, including performances and free books. Jubilee 2024 is presented by Ambetter from Absolute Total Care, along with the support of other generous sponsors.
