Columbia Contra Dance at Lake Murray Contra Hall
No partner or experience necessary. Newcomers workshop is at 6:30pm, and the first contra is at 7:00pm.
Contra dancing is a great way to get some exercise, meet new people, and enjoy live music in a family-friendly environment. No partner necessary. Every dance is taught before you do it and has only a few, easily learned movements. If you can walk, you can contra dance!
Admission is $10 - pay by cash or check. Or use Venmo and pay $10.50 to @contracola-sc. Kids 12 & under dance for free with parent, and must be supervised.
Dress comfortably and please bring clean, soft-soled, non-marking shoes.
