Congaree Vista Walking Tour
Once a bustling cotton warehouse and railroad district comprised of almost 800 acres, today’s Vista is a bustling entertainment district that features architecturally significant buildings from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Participants will learn about buildings along the 700-1000 blocks of Gervais and the people and businesses who made this corridor a center of commerce over a century ago. The tour will last approximately 75 minutes and begin and end outside of the Convention Center (please meet in front of the First Responder monument). Only 20 tickets are available; no walk-ups. HC member: $5, non-member: $10, youth 17 and under: Free.
