City Baptist Jubilee Choir Union Session
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The City Baptist Jubilee Choir Union invites you to our monthly Union Session on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 2:30 pm at Dennis Chapel Baptist Church at 230 Bertha Ave, Columbia, SC 29203.
February has been designated as Black History Month, which began in 1926 as Negro History Week ― because it coincides with the birthdays of two important figures in the abolitionist movement: President Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass (https://tinyurl.com/sx58jk2h)
The CBJCU will celebrate Black History Month on February 9th, chronicling “snippets” of each choir’s Jubilee history and by the infusion of songs: Spirituals, Jubilee, Gospels, and Hymns from times gone by. We are responsible for keeping our legacy on the front line for future generations.
Our excitement overflows as we anticipate another opportunity to commune in His presence. Join us in our fellowship.
