Palmetto Chamber Orchestra Presents: From Known to Unknown!
Join us on a captivating musical and educational journey with our exciting new program, From Known to Unknown! This concert features a blend of familiar and lesser-known gems, offering something for everyone to enjoy and discover.
We will begin with Mozart's delightful overture to Così fan tutte, a timeless classic that sets the stage for an evening of exploration. Next, we delve into the work of Bohemian-born composer Jan Václav Voříšek, showcasing his Symphony in D Major—the only symphony he composed, written in 1821 at the remarkable age of 30. Finally, the program concludes with Stravinsky’s rarely performed Pulcinella Suite, inspired by the early 18th-century commedia dell'arte and music once attributed to Giovanni Battista Pergolesi.
Don’t miss this unique experience on Sunday, February 23, at 4:00 PM in the Johnson Concert Hall at the Darla Moore School of Business, USC campus.
We look forward to sharing this extraordinary musical adventure with you!
