VFW Post 8738 Day of Service
America’s veterans are #StillServing in communities across the country. The next annual VFW Day of Service is May 3, 2025 — marking the start of veteran-led community service projects throughout the month.
VFW Posts, VFW members, community advocates and veterans of every stripe are leading the charge to serve our neighbors and fellow citizens — just as we always have.
VFW Post 8738 in Lexington is partnering with We Are Zeus and The Animal Protection League of SC and holding a pet adoption event. There will be many furry friends available for adoption as well as microchipping for all of your pets. Adoption fees vary based on the pet being adopted.
This event is just another way our Veterans are able to give back to the very community that supports them on a daily basis.
