The 2026 South Carolina Orchid Society Show and Sale!

COLUMBIA, SC: April 10th-12th, 2026: The South Carolina Orchid Society is proud to announce the 2026 South Carolina Orchid Society Show and Sale in the Garden Council of Greater Columbia Building at 1605 Park Circle in Downtown Columbia- near USC! The show will feature thousands of blooming orchids, presented by societies and growers from all over the Southeast. We have hundreds of participants - and more than a dozen accredited judges attending to make sure you have the very best on display! This is an American Orchid Society show with cash prizes and national awards given to the best plants. In addition- we have packed in many other special attractions for our guests! • We will have multiple vendors at the show: there are orchid growers from the Carolina’s to sculptors, potters and jewelry designers- all highlighting the beauty of orchids. • The show will have open classes on Saturday 4/11 and Sunday 4/12 at noon and 2 PM covering everything from “Orchids are Easy!” to specific classes on care and maintenance. • We will have “Ask the Expert” during the entire show, so that if you have a question or need some help- we are there to help you better understand or care for your plants. • We will have special exhibits from the Ikebana Society of incredible Japanese floral arrangements • Admission is only $5.00 this year (children under 12 are FREE)- BUT- for each paid admission you will receive $5.00 in raffle tickets that you can use during the show to win free items such as blooming orchids, gift certificates, orchid supplies and beautiful books and care guides! Orchids are one of the most popular plants around the world and in the US. You can find them for sale everywhere you look- and people want to know how to take care of them and enjoy them more. Our goal is to show South Carolina the incredible variety out there and help people know that they CAN grow these amazing plants at home!
