Richland County Master Gardener Association Annual Plant Sale Fundraiser

The plant sale will include a variety of indoor and outdoor plants, shrubs, succulents, vegetables and herbs. The prices are very affordable. We have hosted a plant sale for more than 15 years at the Clemson Sandhill Research Center. The plant sale is set up across the street from the Village of Sandhill located at 900 Clemson Rd. The event is held in the former location that the Clemson Farmers Market was held until last year. Free carts are provided to make it convenient for plant shoppers. The plants we sell are grown by Clemson certified Master Gardeners and inspected prior to sale day. We will also have our Ask-a-Master Gardener Booth setup to answer all of your gardening questions. There will be signage with the plants that give you plant name and care information. Our plant sale is one of the most popular in the Midlands so come early to get the best selection. Master Gardener volunteers will be at the sale to help you shop for the right plant for the right place. There will be soil sample bags available if you need to do a soil test for your yard. We will also have a seed library there where you can get free seeds. The plant sale is also located adjacent to the Sandhill Children's Garden and the Carolina Yard Demonstration Garden which is open Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm. We invite you to tour our gardens. There are sensory activities for the kids and a reading area to sit and relax. We also have a children's garden book library for you to share with your family. Feel free to donate books. The proceeds benefit graduating high school seniors majoring in agriculture and funding to support our garden demonstration projects.
