“South Sight” and Student Art Show
Featured this month in our main gallery we have multiple student artists from around the city. These talented artists range from 11 to 19 years old and are showcasing a variety of mediums and works.
Featured in our hall gallery we have talented young artist Gora Hensen with the show “South Sight.”
The idea of "South Sight" is to immerse and draw the audience as close as possible to Earth: to the raw and natural state of the area around Colorado Springs. Gora's art forces the audience to come close to nature and confront it, especially, on how our actions have affected such. Having so much polarization between cities in the Southern Colorado area of sustainability efforts, this show will contrast each place's view of the world. Gora's work represents the sky: the infinite, darkness, and stars, above us all. "South Sight" will showcase a collection of works representing our view of said dark sky in the Southern Colorado area.
Come to Disruptor Gallery on April First Friday for a night of art and community! These shows will run from April 3rd to April 25th during our business hours or by appointment.
