Lights on the Lake: Community Menorah Lighting
This festive gathering will be a welcoming, family-friendly celebration of Hanukkah, designed to share the light and joy of Jewish tradition with the broader community.
The evening will feature a public menorah lighting, accompanied by music, storytelling, and reflections on Hanukkah's timeless themes of light, resilience, and hope. The program will be led by Cantor Laurel Barr of Temple B'nai Abraham - Lorain County's only Reform Jewish congregation - and will include performances by local groups such as the Elyria High School Choir.
To make the celebration engaging for all ages, the program will also feature games, crafts, and tastings of classic Hanukkah foods such as donuts, all free of charge.
