Crescendo Awards: Celebrating the Heartbeat of American Music
The Crescendo Awards and Silent Auction event celebrates our work and recognizes:
• The William Woods Excellence in Teaching Award to a NE Ohio Educator
• Stop the Hate Youth Sing Out-2025 Composer Teaching Artists Award
• Teaching & Performing Artist Recognition
• Partner Recognition
The evening features a light dinner, live music, and a silent auction to support our mission to nourish our neighborhoods with the transformative power of music through education and performance.
We use live music to educate, inspire, and comfort people in settings where exposure to music performance is limited or non-existent (music deserts). We serve Northeast Ohio citizens in K-12 schools, residential communities serving seniors, and adult day communities serving the physically and developmentally challenged. During 2023-24 fiscal year our programs served 18,450 students and adults across northeast Ohio.
