All Our Babies: Birthing in the Afrofuture
Join us for the first activation of All Our Babies: Birthing in the Afrofuture, a groundbreaking series exploring Black maternal health, art, culture, and community healing through the lens of Afrofuturism. This free, family-friendly event will offer an immersive experience designed to celebrate Black birthing traditions, amplify maternal health awareness, and build a supportive space for families and caregivers.
Rooted in Afrofuturism, which honors the past while imagining thriving futures for Black families, this initiative brings together artists, birth workers, healthcare professionals, and community leaders to educate, empower, and create change.
The March 29th activation kicks off a six-part series leading up to a culminating community block party and the unveiling of a permanent healing space in September 2025.
