Held on Ash Wednesday and every Friday during Lent, including Good Friday, from 4:30–7:00 pm, the Saint Ambrose Fish Fry offers great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere that brings people together throughout the season.
Guests can enjoy a varied menu with weekly specials, featuring classic fish fry favorites along with additional meal options designed to satisfy every appetite. For those joining us in person, on-site parking is available, and Hilkert Hall is handicap accessible, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming experience for all guests. Our dine-in evenings also include a parish bake sale with homemade desserts and treats, as well as a 50/50 raffle that adds a bit of fun and supports parish efforts. It’s more than just dinner — it’s a gathering of family and friends.
Ash Wednesday at Saint Ambrose offers a special opportunity to begin Lent prayerfully and meaningfully. Guests may receive Ashes during the Fish Fry or choose to attend Mass before or after dining, allowing families to combine worship and fellowship in one visit.
Each Friday, the evening continues with devotion as Stations of the Cross in the Church follows every Friday Fish Fry, offering a beautiful way to reflect on Christ’s journey and deepen your Lenten observance.
