Cincinnati’s GYBST Invites Audience to Star in Live “Disco Broadcast” at Radio Artifact
CINCINNATI, OH — On Saturday, May 9, local 70s dance band Gee, Your Band Smells Terrific (GYBST) will transform Radio Artifact into a live studio experience—where the audience becomes part of the show.
The event, dubbed The Disco Broadcast, is a one-night-only live promo recording inside Radio Artifact, the multimedia studio housed within Urban Artifact in Northside. Known for high-quality live sessions featuring regional artists, the space will serve as the backdrop for a filmed performance capturing both the band and the energy of a packed dance floor.
“This isn’t just another show for us,” says the band. “We’re building it like a moment—cameras rolling, crowd involved, the whole room part of the broadcast.”
The night will feature a full 70s-inspired dance set including disco, yacht rock, and funk favorites, along with audience interaction, a themed photo booth, and a call for attendees to dress in 1970s style.
GYBST has built a reputation around high-energy, fully live performances—no backing tracks—and immersive crowd experiences across the Cincinnati area.
