Samuel Adams and local nonprofit Vets & Brews are bringing back their Tattoo Contest for a second year on Saturday, June 13, from 2-5 p.m., inviting veterans, civilians and tattoo enthusiasts to show off their ink for a cause. The contest is open to anyone ready to show off their ink and share the stories behind it.
In addition to the contest, attendees can enjoy Samuel Adams American Light, browse vendor tables featuring local tattoo shops and veteran-owned businesses, and watch a custom art auction featuring an original piece by Vietnam veteran and renowned tattoo artist Dana Brunson.
Vets and Brews, founded in 2019 by Matt DeMaris, is a nonprofit initiative with a mission to buy every veteran in America a beer. Through $10 donations, Vets and Brews provides a pint to a veteran, with additional funds supporting Patriot’s Landing, a nonprofit that helps veterans transition to civilian life.
This event is free and open to the public. Preregistration to participate in the contest is encouraged.
