Anyone curious about wine is invited to discover a different kind of wine tasting during Beyond the Bottle: Italy, an immersive wine experience at Mercantile Immersive on Thursday, August 20 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Blending a variety of Italian white & red wines, chef-inspired bites, stunning 360-degree visuals and interactive storytelling, the innovative new event reimagines the traditional wine tasting as a social, cocktail-style experience designed to spark curiosity and conversation from casual wine drinkers to seasoned enthusiasts.Guests will explore and sample a variety of Italian reds and whites, chat with experts, compare notes with friends and discover what they like as they journey through a series of tasting stations featuring six distinctive wines from Italy’s most notable wine regions - Marche, Piedmont, Abruzzo and Veneto. Each pour is thoughtfully paired with chef-crafted bites, including Wagyu Beef Tenderloin with Creamy Polenta, Braised Radicchio & Mushroom Conserva accented with an Amarone Reduction, for example, immersive visuals and interactive storytelling.
