Ringing in the Season: A Holiday Concert
The Cincinnati Civic Orchestra will perform three free Holiday Concerts including one at the Erlanger Branch of the Kenton Co. Library at 7 p.m. Dec. 12. “Ringing in the Season” celebrates the holidays with beloved selections including “Silver Bells,” a medley of other holiday bell-themed songs, “Sleigh Ride” and many more festive Christmas and Hanukah songs. The orchestra is excited for our first performances of Jingle Bells Forever , an arrangement of Jingle Bells to the tune of John Philip Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever with bits of the melody from Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus tossed in for fun.

The Cincinnati Civic Orchestra is one of our nation’s oldest all-volunteer symphony orchestras, performing its 96th season of free concerts for appreciative audiences throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.
