Soprano Lauren Jelencovich
An internationally acclaimed soprano, Lauren Jelencovich has captivated audiences worldwide. As the featured vocalist on Yanni's tours, she has garnered great acclaim for her affecting and sparkling portrayals of opera and musical theater roles throughout the United States and abroad.
A Grand Prize winner of Ed McMahon’s Star Search and recipient of Andrea Bocelli’s World Scholarship, her rich performances span opera and musical theater, earning her acclaim on stages across the globe.
Lauren’s recent collaborations include working alongside the legendary Dolly Parton for her Netflix movie musical pitch, Christmas on the Square, and participating in the first table read for the Broadway-bound musical based on Dolly's life. She made history as the first woman in recent times to sing before a mixed-gender audience in Saudi Arabia—a deeply moving experience shared with Yanni.
Her illustrious career includes an Off-Broadway debut in The Music Teacher by Wallace & Allen Shawn, a Carnegie Hall debut, and roles at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis and Opera Tampa under the baton of Anton Coppola. Lauren’s powerful soprano voice has also graced large-scale performances, such as "Broadway Sinfonico" in Monterrey, Mexico, attracting over 20,000 attendees.
From opera to musical theater and beyond, Lauren’s artistry continues to inspire and delight audiences of all ages.
