ALI KOLBERT presented by Commonwealth Sanctuary
Ali is a queer comedian and actress who was a series regular on the truTV series TOP SECRET VIDEOS. Ali has also performed on THE TONIGHT SHOW, A LITTLE LATE WITH LILLY SINGH, THE TODAY SHOW, TruTV’s COMEDY KNOCKOUT, NBC’s BRING THE FUNNY, and BETCHES COMEDY. She even once impersonated Reese Witherspoon on The Howard Stern Show.
In the feature space, she recently penned the original spec ME, YOU AND DREW, which Red Crown and Debbie Liebling are on board to produce. Carlson Young (Amazon’s UPGRADED) is attached to direct, and Ali is set to star. The script follows two women who discover they’re being played by the same man and team up in a quest for revenge, only to instead end up falling in love with each other.
Ali has contributed to Above Average and worked as a contributing writer at The Onion. Her clever, provocative stand-up has seen her included in Variety Magazine’s comedy issues and profiled in Forbes 30 Under 30. She performs stand-up comedy nightly in NYC bars and clubs, where she was one of the youngest comics passed at the Comedy Cellar.

Commonwealth Sanctuary is housed in the recently renovated, historic former Tower Methodist Church, originally built in 1914. It is no longer a church! Rather, we have converted the purpose of this beautiful old building to bringing you exquisitely curated live entertainment. We have, however, gone to great lengths to preserve the original character of the building while updating for it’s new purpose. We retained all the original stained glass windows and custom-built, curved pews.
We have added a full concession stand with draft beer and wine, as well as many canned drinks, including cocktails and Delta-9 beverages. We partner with local Dayton, KY business Kate’s Catering for our prepared food options. We have added full lighting and sound systems, as well as a complete broadcast-quality video system for recording events and live podcasts. We are exclusively partnered with Third Rule Media to produce our recorded content.
