A Holiday Concert Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday
The Cincinnati Civic Orchestra will perform a free Holiday Concert featuring nationally popular music selections to celebrate the holidays, with a nod to America’s upcoming 250th birthday. Beloved selections including “White Christmas,” “Song of the Bells,” “Sleigh Ride” and many more festive Christmas and Hanukkah songs. The orchestra is excited to again perform “Jingle Bells Forever,” an arrangement of “Jingle Bells” to the tune of John Philip Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever” with bits of the melody from Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” tossed in for fun.
