The Giving Voice Foundation’s 10th Annual ‘Mimosas for Memories’ Event
The 10th annual Mimosas for Memories brunch event hosted by the Giving Voice Foundation is set for Saturday April 26, at The Cincinnati Club. This popular event includes bottomless mimosas, lively entertainment, local retail vendors, high-value auction items, a red-carpet photo booth, a 20-year Pappy Van Winkle bourbon bottle raffle and more!
Since 2016, Mimosas for Memories has been raising funds and awareness to support free local programming provided to Cincinnati’s aging community. The Giving Voice Foundation facilitates cross-generational conversations and connections to improve the health and lives of older adults and their caregivers through advocacy, education, engagement and storytelling.
Event proceeds will fund interactive music and movement programs for local seniors such as Creative Connections, Music in Motion, Brains in Bloom and Dancing to Remember, a ballroom dancing program. Giving Voice also offers writing programs and peer support for caregivers.
This important cause is one that affects nearly every family in America – Alzheimer’s and dementia. About 1 in 9 Americans ages 65 and older has Alzheimer's, and the Tri-state has more than 151,000 individuals either living with dementia or caring for a loved one who does.
“The Queen City has truly embraced our mission to support Cincinnati’s aging community over the past decade through our incredible Mimosas for Memories event,” said Dr. Christian Gausvik, MD, founder and board president of the Giving Voice Foundation. “Families often feel lost when faced with the challenges of an Alzheimer’s or dementia diagnosis. Thanks to your ongoing support of our events like Mimosas, we will continue to expand and plan to offer even more no cost programs for those in our city dealing with memory loss and their caregivers.”
The organization is aiming to raise $140,000 through its Mimosas for Memories event this year.

Anyone can participate in the silent auction and purchase raffle tickets to win the highly coveted Pappy bourbon bottle raffle. Raffle tickets are $10 each or three for $25. You do not have to be present at the event to win!
Mimosas for Memories is set for Saturday, April 26 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The Cincinnati Club. VIP ticketholders will receive early entry and a seated brunch at 10:30 a.m.
General admission tickets will be $125 and $170 for VIP. Discounted bundle packages and sponsorship opportunities are available upon request.
The event will be emceed by beloved local DJ, JonJon Curl, host of “JonJon & Friends” on iHeart Radio’s KISS107 FM.
