Comedians
Sally Chaffin Brooks is a nationally touring stand-up comedian, writer and podcaster whose personal stories of misadventure and fun-loving, smart-assed nature were honed in the back rooms of bars in Cincinnati, Ohio and now make her a favorite at the top clubs and colleges across the country. She is the cohost of the comedy podcast The Ridiculist. Her first album, "Brooks Was Here" was released by Blonde Medicine and debuted at the top of the Apple Comedy charts. According to Pandora Radio "Sally Brooks unleashes a relentless wit on her debut album." The Laugh Button said she is "one of the hardest working comics in the business" and Axs.com called her a "rising star."
Sally's second album, "Street Bird" was released by Helium Records. The album debuted at #1 on both Apple Music and Amazon. Showbiz Monkey called the album "a refreshing breath of fresh air," saying Sally is "fast, smart, and funny as all hell."
Sally has appeared on NBC and SyFy and can be heard regularly on Sirius/XM. She had a residency with the PIT Presents at the Peoples' Improv Theater in NYC and has been invited to perform at many festivals including Limestone, Laughing Skull, the New York Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy, and Gilda's LaughFest. Sally is the creator of the popular Suzy Jenkins web series, which served as an inspiration for the HULU show "Mother UP!".
Sally's debut memoir about thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail, Going to Maine, will be published in September 2024. Comedian Bobcat Goldthwait said, "Going to Maine is the perfect mix of heartfelt and laugh-out-loud funny, and with this book, Sally Chaffin Brooks establishes herself as a stand-out writer you'll want to follow anywhere."
Connor Twele got a 32 on his ACT but never really put the score to use in any practical fashion aside from putting it in bios. He has become a regular in the Cincinnati comedy scene during his short tenure as a stand up comic
